APPLICATIONS - Here are summaries of some of the CD creation jobs we have done:

Human resource data: Imaged personnel application forms, indexed by name and 10 other data fields on the applications.

Detailed billing records: Imaged accounts receivable and accounts payable records. Indexed by name, ID#, and four additional data elements.

Flood plain data for the U.S.: Imaged and indexed data elements of hard copy originals in sizes from 8 1/2" X 11" up to 36" X 48". Digital files were also indexed and can be searched by text content.

Multiple tenant property: Loan folder document sets of 100+ pages each for 46 properties were imaged and indexed by four elements for retrieval to view and print using Alchemy. The published CD was distributed to approximately 150 bidders in lieu of shipping them large boxes of paper copies, saving substantial costs in printing and shipping.

Public library application: Imaged and indexed a backlog of public records related to EPA matters. Documents were indexed by five data elements and selected pages were also processed through OCR. The resulting text is searchable in Alchemy with links to the original document images. The ease of use of Alchemy software was a critical factor in this project due to the requirement for its use by the general public.

Government publications for bid: Created images and OCR text for 8 1/2" X 11" document sets. Indexed by document identification and category. All hard copy and approximately 250 additional word processing and spreadsheet files were incorporated into a single CD for distribution with a bid.

Correspondence and memoranda: An association with a large volume of correspondence & spreadsheets, etc. wanted the capability to easily search archived data. S.A.I.D. organized, loaded, and indexed three years of data (over 1 gigabyte compressed) for rapid search and retrieval using Alchemy.

COM computer file conversion: For an association with COM computer files, S.A.I.D. converted COM print tapes to CD for fast search and retrieval using Alchemy.
